You have to know several things before you can edit a layout. Things such as CSS and HTML.

CSS is handled by different browsers differently. Thats why you see the layout all messed up. It takes some effort to make a balanced CSS that works with all browsers. You can download Microsoft Expression Web and use it to create the layout and then just copy and paste the code.

I have a blog on blogspot. I went to the Google Blogspot search engine, but it doesn’t just search their blogs. I have tried and tried to find my own blog that way and cannot find it (although I know how to get to it via my Favorites). I just want to see how others, through a search engine, could find it. Anyone know?

Have you tried "http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch?hl=en"?

Also in your blogspot Settings under Basic, and under "Let search engines find your blog?" select Yes.
